Hey, I’m Jack Taylor Jones owner and operator of Lighthouse Christian Stores. Yes…my name is Jack. That in itself is a story but, long story short, I am named after my Mother’s uncle whom she promised she would name her next child after.

My husband and I opened Lighthouse in June of 2007. We opened our first location on Wyoming St. a few steps from Purtian in Detroit, MI. The store was a dream come true from a vision that had been in our hearts for over 12 years.

After being in business nine years, we were blessed to purchase Gospel House; a Christian retail store that had been in business for over 30 years. That purchase provided growth in the Christian industry. In November of 2018 Lighthouse had the opportunity to secure a building in one of the hottest, fastest growing retail areas in the city of Detroit, the Livernois Corridor also known to many as “The Livernois Avenue of Fashion”. After months of renovating and build out work Lighthouse moved to its new location in April of 2019, at 18647 Livernois Ave, Detroit, MI 48221. To God Be the Glory!

As a business owner, Minister and teacher of the Word of God, I am passionate about empowering all people to share the Good News of the Gospel. Lighthouse provides products and services to churches, church groups and individuals to do just that.

Lighthouse Mission has always been “To equip believers with tools to spread the Gospel.” We do this by carrying a variety of bibles, books, training material, scripture cards, and gifts that I believe would inspire anyone who receives them.  Lighthouse is committed to an ever-expanding selection of products and services to meet our customer’s ever-increasing need as they grow in God.
